Our 128th Emsdale Agricultural Society is on Saturday, August 26, 2017.

Opening Ceremonies at 11:30 AM

Morning Parade / Canada 150 Theme
Shriners, clowns, horses, costumes and floats! Floats assemble at Perry Central Apartments at 10:30 AM.

English & Western Horse Show
Watch these riders compete and exhibit their skills.

 

Horse Pull
A highlight for the day would have to be watching team-horses compete at the horse pull. Click for more details.

 

Live Music
Easy listening, popular music. Come sit and listen or get up and dance.

Combines magic with various circus skills.

Cedarstone Polled Hereford Cattle
A separate breed of Hereford Cattle beginning in 1889.

Baby Show / Canadian Colours
10:00 AM near the Pioneer Museum. 2 years old & younger. Prizes for all who enter! Special prizes for “Mr. Farmer” and “Ms Farmerette”.

 

Hands on Exotics
Featuring kangaroos, lemurs, foxes, owl, tortoise, lizards, snakes and more.

 

Hall Exhibits
Did you win first place? Everything from baked goods, kitted crafts, popsicle stick art, flowers and photography.

 

Fire Department Children’s Games
Can you win a potato sack race? Catch a water balloon? If so, you could win a prize. All ages.

The Pioneer Museum represent a substantial part of the heritage of the citizens of Emsdale and area. Is open to all visitors of the fair.

Is it lunch time already? Why not grab a burger, sausage, french fries and a slice of pie. Delicious!
